Top 10 teachings of Abraham Hicks

I’m an avid student of Abraham-Hicks . Their teachings regarding deliberate
creation are empowering and universal. Over the years, as we’ve matured spiritually in our asking, Abraham has responded with ever more profound messages regarding our purpose as deliberate creators.

Here are 10 messages from Abraham,as I understand and interpret them. I call them premises because they are core truths, or principles, regarding who we are, why we’re here, and howlife operates. They go beyond materialism and methods to the heartof the matter: we are eternal powerful creators, here for the purpose of joyous expansion. You don’t need a method regarding deliberate creation and Law of
Attraction. You ARE the method.

Powerful premise #1: The universe is benevolent.
Your primal belief about the nature oflife itself lies at the very core of your entire earthly experience. To be empowered, you must first feel safe. When you understand and truly believe that there is only goodness in the universe, you are freed from fear. There is no duality; no good versus evil. There is only your own separation from the flow of benevolence that is all around you. You have the choice to reconnect to that flow at any time. It is a process oflearning to be proactive rather than
reactive and of detaching from your identification with the ego and all of its drama.

Powerful premise #2: You’re not whatyou think you are.
When you believe that you are one single person living one single life, your view of the world is steeped in separation and small thinking. The truth is that you are a multifaceted being, vast in your beingness. You areeternal. You are living innumerable lives, in both physical and nonphysical form, all at once. You arean extension of Source energy, all- knowing and all-powerful. You are light and love itself. When you step
back and see yourself as more than just human, you access your true power as a deliberate creator. You created this world. You created this body you are currently flowing your attention into. You have the ability to create absolutely anything you choose.
Powerful premise #3: Worthiness comes first, then manifestation.
Once you understand who and what you really are beyond this single human life form, worthiness comes naturally. Without this deep-seated spiritual worthiness, manifestation of all you desire can never, ever come. To be aligned with your desires, you
must first be aligned with your true self: as Source. It is as Source that youmanifest. Worthiness is synonymous with aligning with the Source that is the true you. When you fully grasp and internalize premises one and two, worthiness becomes the basis of your being.
Powerful premise #4: Both your past and your present are past tense.
NOW is all there is. Your past doesn’t matter one bit in terms of who you wish to be or what you wish to create today. The past is over and dead and has no power unless you keep it alive by reliving it in your thoughts and feelings. Even more empowering,
your present doesn’t really matter either. Whatever has already manifested into what you’d call present reality is old news. It’s the visual evidence of old thoughts and intentions made manifest. What you’dcall the future is where the true NOW is. That’s where infinite potentials are being formed, waiting for you to catch up to them so they can then come into manifestation. Forget what has been. Forget what is. Focus on aligning with what can be.
Powerful premise #5: If you need it, itcan’t come.
Anytime you need something to manifest, you are actually focused on
the fact that you don’t have it. When you are focused on the fact that you don’t have it, you are aligning with the absence of it rather than the presence of it. Law of Attraction then responds by continuing to give you the absenceof it, since that is where your vibration is at. There are true needs, yes, like food and clothing andshelter. However, the vast majority of things we think we need are not reallyneeds, but wants. There is nothing wrong with wanting something, so long as you aren’t attached to it. You get attached to it when you believe that it’s going to make you feel fulfilled, happy, or at peace. In other words, you feel not enough without it.
Instead, you have to feel fulfilled, happy and at peace first. You have to know you are complete and enough now. Then the thing can come.
Powerful premise #6: Shouting no! brings it right to you.
It’s so important to make peace with things that bother you and to stop pushing against things you don’t like, agree with, or believe in. Anything you focus on, especially with a strong emotional reaction, just continues to come into your experience because you are vibrating a signal that matches that thing. Law of Attraction brings anything into your experience that you are strongly focused on,
whether it’s something wanted or unwanted. So let go of small things that in the grand scheme of eternal life really don’t matter. Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy and thus happily manifest what you desire? Give up the addiction to drama. Do you want drama or do you want peace, ease, and abundance?
Powerful premise #7: Ignorance is bliss, but avoidance is disastrous.
We all have things we’d like to be different in this world, but if caring about what’s happening in the world is making you angry or miserable, you’re actually contributing to the
problem due to premise number 6. You may think you’re being responsible by fighting against something, but in doing so, you’re actually perpetuating it vibrationally. The most responsible thing to do is really to ignore the problem/crisis/injustice and instead put your attention on how you’d like the world to be instead.
Related to this, if you’re going out of your way to totally avoid something that makes you uncomfortable, your vibrational attention is actually on thething causing the discomfort, and youwill have a tendency to draw that thing you’re trying to avoid right into both worldly and your own personal
experience. The rule is: Neutral ignoring=good. Uncomfortable avoiding=bad.

Appreciating the love you have

Life usually progresses in cycles or periods of time. The period of time when you are single can be frustrating, depressing and agonizing. Or, a break from partnership could be a time of great joy and discovery. It’s up to you.

Loneliness is tricky, like a snake. It will wrap around you and squeeze hard. It makes the world seem empty and cruel; people may look ugly.
But no matter how hard it may be raining, it always stops eventually. Thistoo, shall pass. You can always bet on Chance. If you are single today, you will be in a loving relationship in the future.
We seem to change in cycles or repetitions, like the spin of a moon or the turn of the day. Your life is a sequence of little epochs or eras. These periods of time are usually givena title. The Summer We Met. Two Yearsof Divorce. Four Years of School. Nine
Months of Pregnancy.

Grass grows, taking its time. It has its own pace. You are single for now, but in time you will find love. How would you like to use the time? Will you be pining for the inevitable or enjoying the moment?
We are living in a wild age of chaos, economically, socially and politically. Everything seems to be happening so fast. It would be nice to have a partnerright now, but you don’t need to freak out.

One of the easiest ways to survive the world is focus on what you have. By focusing on the here and now; the good and true, you affirm the present.
A signal will ripple outward to the one who also waits for you. By appreciating the things you love, you become a beacon of attraction.

Are you grateful for friends? Are you close to someone in your family? Is there a neighbor looking out for you? Maybe you have a pet dog, cat or an iguana you simply adore. What do you love about that little squirt? Define your feelings. Name each and every one and add these notations and observations to your journal. Place them in the forefront of your mind. Make a declaration out of the good feelings and you’ll realign a bad mood. You may be single now, but there is much love in your life. Yes, there is!

What’s there to love about your life? Is there something about your job that lights you up, perhaps? Look at k art and fashion. What does nature mean to you? Find something beautiful, a tree or a building, and tell someone about it. What food do you want to taste right now? Describe all ofthe beautiful aspects about your religion or belief. Why do you love your favorite TV show? What’s your favorite book and why?
This focus is creating energy. It summons attraction. These appreciations become your own advertising billboard on the highway to love.

You may need to find a special place toconnect to these feelings of appreciation. The brain cannot be buzzing. Take a bubble bath or have a glass of something yummy to relax. Pamper yourself a little.
Here are four simple actions that help us appreciate the loves that we have inour lives. These efforts help us to shift our focus.
1. Pretend It’s spring and Start Cleaning When you dust, you will come in cotactwith your sweetest memorobilia. A snow globe that reminds you of a great vacation or a silver picture framethat holds the image of a loved one. It
is so easy miss these things in your busy day-to-day routine. When we clean, we have to dust each item individually. Cleaning demands that you move your body. And, oh yes, your home will be clean when you’re done. Bonus!
2. Take a Vacation Pack your bags and go to Hawaii for two weeks. Or, make a sandwich and take yourself to a beautiful picnic spot for an hour. Either way, it is a vacation,an action that heightens appreciation.
3. Create your own Ceremony of Appreciation Burn sage. Light candles. You are the guru. Design a ritual. Then, perform it.
Stop and breathe in the incense. Let the sensations of your own gratitude touch you.
4. Pay it forward Think of something nice. It could be anobservation or an action. Then share itwith someone else.
The single life may sometimes suck. But it doesn’t have to. Your colorful complaints may be good for a little entertainment, but negativity breeds more of the same. Just be grateful for this time. Your life is still moving ahead, single or not. Make it fun. You are now free to really stop and listen. Appreciate the many loves currently in your life. There are many. All you have
to do is reopen your eyes!

Love Lies..

love lies’ I’m referring to the lies you may hold about love inside.

Think you may have any?

These negative beliefs about love create your experience of it and your relationship with it, and lead to fears, resistances and unhealthy
patterns.

This has certainly been the case in my life, and becoming aware
of these ‘lies’ has been a big part of my healing journey.

If you believe “love hurts”, rather than “love heals”, for example, you’ll
have very different experiences.

You might believe love = pain, love = a loss of freedom, love = losing yourself, love = sacrifce, love = being controlled/jealous/rejected, etc.

I discovered that I had a belief that “Everyone I love leaves me” – not a
great one for relationships!

Do you know what you believe about love, or money/happiness/success
for that matter? And how this may be affecting your life profoundly?

There are beliefs you hold about the world, about others (“People are…”, “Men are…”, “Women are…”), and…
…beliefs you hold about YOURSELF (“I don’t deserve”, “I am unloveable”, etc.

These can be quite common, though less often consciously acknowledged or recognized. I also explore how they can manifest in your life.

How is your life right now?
Any ‘problem’ areas that feel like they never seem to change or you never totally move beyond them?

Repeated patterns and ‘same old story’ experiences?

Your reality reflects your beliefs!

If you don’t like the script you’re experiencing write a new one!

YOU are the author of your life!

Do you think you may hold some negative beliefs in a given area?

Positive beliefs manifest positive realities.

It is your beliefs that keep you separate from the successes you seek
and all you can be, do and create.

Choose beliefs that honour your true wonderful nature and the dreams
your heart desires.

Love and joy,

creating money

“Imagine that there are many flows coming into you from the universe, and each one offers a way money can come to you. Every time you have a doubt, every time you resent paying a bill, every time you do not believe in your prosperity, you close off one of those flows. Every time you send out your money with joy and love, you open another way for the universe to send you money. The next time you pay a bill, imagine that at least ten times more than the amount you pay out is coming back to you. See your money contributing to the prosperity of the person or institution you are paying.”
“Make sure that when you take your money out of savings or sell an investment, you spend it for something special, something you will have a great desire for. This charges your money with aliveness, and makesall the money you have more magnetic. Ask, “How can I use my savings to serve my higher purpose?
One of the best uses of your savings is empowering your life’s work. You will discover that those who become wealthy put their extra money into their dreams, investing in themselves before they invest in areas they know little about. Spend money on things that help you get your work out into the world, be they books or classes, equipment, the right clothes for your job, or remodeling your house to make room for an office or place to doyour work. Using your money to create your life’s work will draw to youeven more money.”

tale of two armstrong

On August 25, the most famous of astronauts, Neil Armstrong,
passed away.

Days before, the most famous of road racing cyclists, Lance
Armstrong, was in the news for facing a liftetime ban from
competition for using performance enhancing drugs.

Two Armstrongs – two strong men with very different
outcomes.

Neil Armstrong, known as the first person to walk the moon,
was an aerospace engineer, U.S. Navy pilot and professor.
During his first spaceflight – the NASA Gemini 8 mission –
he acted as command pilot.

Gemini 8 triggers the number 8 – a powerful number for Neil
Armstrong . His full birthday or Life Purpose Number adds up
to 26/8, signifying leadership and overcoming obstacles to
gain strength.

Armstrong’s most famous spaceflight came as mission
commander of the Apollo 11 moon landing in July 1969. During
July, 2969 Armstrong was experiencing a powerful 44/8
Personal Month, activating his 26/8 Life Purpose yet again.

With his birthday on the 5th of August, Armstrong was bound
to love excitement, adventure and freedom! This number also
tied him to the U.S. since America’s Life Purpose is 32/5.

Neil Armstrong passed away in August. He had just begun an
18/9 Personal Year. 9 signifies culminations, transitions,
endings and letting go.

Amazingly, August, 2012 was a 26/8 Personal Month for him –
reflecting his 26/8 Life Purpose of leadership and strength.

What gave Neil Armstrong the extra edge was his highly
fortunate current name which adds up to 45/9.

The same cannot be said of ‘Lance Armstrong’, who carries a
challenging 12/3 name vibration. 12 is the ‘victim number’
when it comes to current names, and Lance certainly feels
victimized.

I have written about him several times before, so will sum
up this about his numbers.

Lance’s Birth Numbers are completely dominated by the number
9.

1. Lance Armstrong was born on the 18th, a 9 Day of Birth.

2. He has a 36/9 Life Purpose Number, based on all the
digits of his birthday.

3. Lance’s Essence Number – Month and Day – is 18/9.

4. Lance’s Year of Birth is 1971, adding up to 18/9.

5. Lance’s Destiny Number, based on his birth name ‘Lance
Edward Gunderson’, is 90/9.

This remarkable series of 9’s is extremely rare.

What do all these 9s and 18/9s mean? When expressed
positively, 9 symbolizes the King of Numbers. 9 is the final
single digit, and thus holds all the other numbers within
it.

9 looks like a body with a very large head sitting on top.
The head represents wisdom. As the ‘Humanitarian Number’,
9’s special purpose is to raise humanity’s consciousness
with compassion and love.

9’s do this by being a role model.

Since 9’s will be emulated by others, whether they like it
or not, 9’s must always ‘walk their talk’.

When balanced, 9’s are natural leaders, whose very life
teaches by example.

All 9’s have a strong inclination to follow something they
believe in, and pursue it with tremendous ambition and
drive.

Lance Armstrong epidomizes all these qualities – overcoming
testicular cancer that had metastasized to his brain and
lungs after which he won 7 Tour de France titles in
consecutive years.

With a chart dominated by 9s Armstrong undoubtedly had the
drive, wisdom, fortitude and regal strength to create an
inspiring legacy.

Here’s the thing. 9’s are perfectionists. They expect
perfection from themselves – and can place these high
expectations on others. The big lessons for 9’s is to learn
to forgive, and to trust their inner wisdom. The wisdom is
always revealed in their Feelings – 9 lies in the 3-6-9
‘Feeling’ Triad of numbers.

A 9 person’s greatest wish is to serve the world in some
capacity.

And like every number 9 has a shadow side as well. For Lance
both the positive and shadow sides are accentuated due to
huge role this number plays in his blueprint.

When 9 is expressed negatively, the ego (large head at the
top) looms large and the person does not listen, covers up
with lies, can be immoral, possessive, bitter and corrupt.

Negative 9’s are critical of others and feel ‘I can do no
wrong – I am invincible.’

Unfortunately, Lance Armstrong’s challenging current name
keeps attracting obstacles into his life. He feels
victimized. He knows most of the other cyclists took the
same performance enhancing drugs. He could come clean and
explain how his sport became so competitive that the only
way to win was to stay one step ahead of the drug testers.
He has chosen not to ‘come clean’ in order to protect his
egoic self.

Here is a man who reached legendary status both on and off
the field, and yet his life is in shambles now.

Lance Armstrong’s story points out again how important our
choices and decisions are this year.

It’s OK to veer off course – we all make “mis-takes”! That
is how we mature and learn. As long as you take
responsibility for your life by risking everything to be
free of guilt and regrets, you will be in good hands.

In the end, you live with your decisions. 2012 is your year
to decide how you want to thrive!

May Neil Armstrong rest in peace. May Lance find peace in
his heart.

blue moon :)

Blue moon to appear Friday night, broadcast online by the Slooh Space Camera to honor Neil Armstrong
A blue moon is really the second full moon of the month — it’s not particularly blue, unless it sees you standing alone.~

Blue moon, the stuff of song, is not blue, actually. It is the second full moon of the month.
A blue moon will grace the night sky on Friday, August 31.
People with less than ideal viewing conditions can watch the lunar event online. The Slooh Space Camera will broadcast the moon starting at 6 p.m. with a feed from the Prescott Observatory in Arizona and an observatory in the Canary Islands. The broadcast will honor Neil Armstrong, whose funeral is coincidentally the same day, reports TIME .
Despite its colorful name, there’s nothing particularly blue about a blue moon. It simply means the second full moon of the month, so don’t expect to see a different hue that night.
Since full moons occur every 29 days and the last one appeared on August 2, we are scheduled to witness a blue moon on Friday. This will be the first blue moon since March 2010, nearly 30 months ago.

A full moon appears squashed due to distortions by Earth’s atmosphere in this photo by an astronaut on the International Space Station.
But you shouldn’t worry if you thought blue moon meant the moon would change colors. The popular definition of blue moon, in use today, is actually founded on a mistake.
Back in 1946, an amateur astronomer James Pruett read the phrase in the Maine Farmers’ Almanac. The book defined a blue moon as the third full moon of a season with four full moons. Pruett misinterpreted the term as meaning the second blue moon of the month.
It would have stopped there had Pruett not written an article titled “Once in a Blue Moon” for Sky & Telescope magazine. He used the incorrect definition and it stuck, reports Space.com .

your next goal in 5mins a day

Would you like to learn an absolutely free method for reaching your next goal in only five minutes a day?

You don’t need to buy anything, you don’t need to own anything, you don’t need to go anywhere and you don’t need to have any previous experience to make this method work for you.

You already have everything you need. Just one brain, that’s all you need. Let me show you one way to program your mind so that your goals come to you effortlessly.
Here is a simple technique which always works for me.

Step 1: The Magic of Thinking Small

First, pick a goal that is just beyond your comfort level. Many motivational teachers will urge you to shoot for the stars, think incredibly big, and go for goals which are ten times as large as anything you’ve ever accomplished. This may work well for people who are already confident in their power to manifest, but for the beginner, or for the person who has not had much success using mind power, the idea of thinking outrageously big is a disaster.

For example, if you haven’t had a date in three years you don’t want to visualize yourself scoring with bunnies at the Playboy mansion. In theory all goals are definitely achievable, but in your reality you probably don’t really believe it’s possible, so it won’t happen. Instead, pick a goal which is reasonable and can be accomplished within a few months. In this example, you might want to have just one date in the next three months. Not nearly as thrilling of a goal, but a fantastic step towards a better life.

Or you probably want more money in your life. Instead of visualizing yourself suddenly earning $250,000 a year, start with a goal of increasing your wage or your sales by 10 per cent. Again, not exactly thrilling, but the point is you start small and build upon your success, instead of going for the home run and missing every time.

You see, after you reach that first goal you will have some confidence, and you can use that confidence to step up to the next goal, slowly but surely building a better life in the process.

Step 2: Create a Declaration of Intent

Once a day, every morning, write down the goal you’ve picked. Whatever it is you want to experience, just write it down once a day. A good format to use is a short sentence which begins with “I am now attracting…”, “I am now creating…”, “I will now…” or “I now intend…

For example:

“I AM NOW ATTRACTING A LOVING RELATIONSHIP INTO MY LIFE.”
“I WILL NOW SELL 10 PER CENT MORE PRODUCTS EACH MONTH.”
“I AM NOW CREATING HIGHER SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE.”
“I NOW INTEND TO EAT THOUGHTFULLY AND BEGIN LOSING WEIGHT.”

Of course, create your own wording for your own goal. The vitally important thing is that when you say it your emotional state agrees with the statement. For example, the reason an affirmation such as “I am now exercising every day” doesn’t work is because if you are not exercising every day you immediately feel it when you say it. If you say “I am now with my ideal partner” you will immediately feel the lie even before you finish saying it.

However, a statement which begins “I am now attracting…” or “I now intend…” is true (at least while you are saying it) and holds no contradiction in your emotions. Of course, this is different for everyone, so find a wording that works for you.

Step 3: Celebrate Your Future Success

After writing down your goal, mentally place yourself in the future, to a day where your goal has been accomplished, and feel the happiness and excitement you would be feeling, knowing that you have accomplished your goal.

Just pretend it is, for example, three months from today, and on that day you have reached your goal. Let’s say that this future day is the day you start the new job you have been working towards, or on that day you weigh yourself and you are 10 pounds lighter, or on that day you leave for the vacation you’ve been dreaming about.

Whatever it is, just move forward in your mind to that day, and PRETEND that your goal has been reached, andFEEL the emotions which you would feel if you had actually reached your goal.

Feel the happiness, feel the success, feel the proud accomplishment of knowing that you can use your own inner power to change your life. Imagine what next goal you’ll now go for since you’ve reached this first one. Plan a celebration for yourself, and imagine how great you will feel when you celebrate your accomplishment.

Just generate that positive emotion for a minute or two, and just bask in it for a few moments.

Step 4: Ask For Help From Your Future Self

Now, while you are enjoying that feeling, looking back to today from that future moment, ask yourself what single action you can take, today, to bring your goal to you faster.

The future you which has accomplished your goal knows what steps need to be taken. From this vantage point, you can ask yourself what is the next most practical action you can take.

When you get the answer, write it down, and take that action at some point during the day. Taking action, no matter how small, is the fastest and surest way of convincing your subconscious mind that you are serious, and will do wonders for the quick manifestation of your goals.

Step 5: Choose the Same Thing Every Day

Do this daily, until you are done. Work on only one goal at a time, and don’t change goals unless you decide you no longer want the one you started working on. If you no longer want the goal, choose a new one and start again. But if you do want your original, don’t stop until you have it.

WARNING: LACK OF PERSISTENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON WHY PEOPLE DO NOT REACH THEIR GOALS.

If you give up before you reach your goal, you obviously don’t want it very much, do you? Pick a goal that you cannot live without, and start again…

This technique only takes about 5 or 10 minutes with your morning coffee and works flawlessly. If you do it.
